This Thursday let Stockhouse investors learn about and directly interact with some of the best up-and-coming companies in today’s markets, and the feedback has been tremendous.

More than 200 people attended Stockhouse’s Live CEO Q&A event online, which started with a keynote by Frank Holmes with Insight into the State of the Capital Markets. Viewers had the opportunity to chat directly with management and gain some immediate due diligence, and the answers given were direct and noteworthy.

If you missed the event, fear not, because for the next 30 days you can still register for free and view the entire session on-demand.

The presenters included two Stockhouse Bullboard Award winners, Great Bear Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:GBR) and World-Class Extractions Inc. (CSE: PUMP), as well as the well-known Hive Blockchain (TSX-V: HIVE).

Chris Taylor, CEO of Great Bear Resources, was asked about how the company plans to continue protecting shareholders, building out their project, and carrying out a maiden resource at the same time:

“…We believe the maiden resource will form a valuation base that protects shareholder value long term as right now the market is not yet understanding the project scale. I think it'll be clear what I'm alluding to over the next months, exploration will continue concurrently. So a unique case here, still exploration expansion, but also working on defining some the zones we've already found.”

Rosy Mondin, CEO of World Class Extractions, spoke about where the company is focusing in the future in regards to the international market, current contracts, and cannabis or hemp:

“There are fluctuations in pricing and in the market [for cannabis and hemp], we are going after both… We are lining up potential contracts for tolling, and tolling will begin 1-2 months after installation is complete. [Also] we are actively working on deals in Europe, and the USA.”

In addition, viewers got to learn about some additional next-level investment opportunities. They included the gold explorers Liberty Gold Corp. (TSX: LGD) andPure Gold Mining Inc. (TSX-V: PGM), copper and previous metals holder Vizsla Resources Corp. (TSX-V: VZLA), and the pre-public international cannabis producer World Farms Corp.

Darin Labrenz, President and CEO of Pure Gold Mining, was asked about the company’s cash position (fully-funded) and comparisons to Great Bear despite its share price staying relatively flat in recent months:

“The flat share price is puzzling. Often stocks drift in construction, but our story is quite different. Fully funded, very short construction period and we are still drilling, so opportunity for growth and discovery… It is a good position to be in. We have moved through many milestones, and believe our timing for gold price and production is looking good.”

Arthur Griffiths, former owner of the Vancouver Canucks and CEO of World Farms, answered questions about his company needing to have a sharp focus in the current cannabis market and on the potential of capitalizing on his history in professional sports:

“…We are not planning to produce brands or products in the short term as you can see our farming plans are aggressive. So we need to stay focused. [On athletes involvement] the short answer is yes we can help via partnerships with athletes or retired athletes with their pain.”
