AJ201 is a pleiotropic small molecule that is designed to modify multiple mechanisms including degradation of the abnormal AR protein and stimulation of Nrf1 and Nrf2, which are involved in protecting cells form oxidative stress which can lead to cell death. Tramadol, a synthetic dual-acting opioid, is a centrally acting analgesic with weak opioid agonist properties.
