GOLD AND 43 METRES AT 1.39 G/T GOLD: DRILL RESULTS FROM FIRST 3 OF 7 HOLES

(the “Company” or “Golden Shield”) is pleased to announce the drill results from the first three
drill holes drilled on Mazoa Hill. These first three drill holes form part of the recently concluded
2,364 metre, 13-hole diamond drilling campaign at the Marudi Mountain gold project (the “Marudi
Project”), located in the Rupununi District of southwestern Guyana. Mazoa Hill is one of eight
prospects so far discovered on the 5,457-hectare Marudi Project.

MAZOA HILL RESULTS
A total of seven drill holes were drilled at Mazoa Hill, which are designed to extend mineralization
beyond the extents of the historical resource, confirm the historical resource and the Company’s
