TWC takeover

TWC takeoverPali Research media analyst Richard Greenfield  is speculating on a potential takeover of CHTR after Time warner cables splits off of Time Warner Inc. He states that the merger may happen nearing the end of 2009, and that TWC may choose CHTR since there is no other company to choose from, but he does not say why TWC would be interested in making an aqcuisition.

Financially, the merger would reduce CHTR leverage ratio from 9 to 5, but for any strategic reasons, there is not much support.
