First of all i appreciate the dialogue and it is a welcomed sight on these boards - big reason why I only really use CEO.CA anymore. On your comments below however - you're missing the significant proprietary technology that Windular has. I've reached out to Jerry a few times since the deal was announced and learned an incredible amount on his proprietary tech that no one else has. I will encourage them to do more detailed release or a better interview to discuss as I agree its not found easily. 

A few high-level notes 

Windular has 'Smart-Tracking' Technology that records wind movements every few seconds and as the wind changes direction, the turbines move 360 degrees around the track to reposition the turbine for optimal wind efficiency - pretty cool and these can be put on any exisiting towers or new ones. 

Secondly, they have defensive technology built in to protect the wind turbine from major storms, weather events. The Windular turbines are constantly checking air temperature/speed etc. and if it recognizes a major storm ie a hurricane coming then it will actually shut down the turbine and retract itself to the tower, hiding while the storm passes. Once it does, it will re-open and restart.
