RE:St.Elmo's FUD

RE:St.Elmo's FUDReally? Oh well. Yesterday I posted on that site what my buddy said. They skid the rig a few hundred feet when pulling BOP and riser because as he said that if they drop the BOP on the well head then you can kiss the entire well good bye. So, what you wrote about seeing a skid of 400 feet, if memory serves, is just good, safe practice.

So pulling BOPs and riser is scare tactics? I'd think that after over 90 days from spud it might be good news, if that is what they did. Anyway Dfly, I think that they may have a pretty good well there based on the fact that nothing major has caught them by surprise on this wildcat. It means that they got everything right, as predicted.

Also sp hasn't tanked in major panic. So I darned well hope that they skidded the rig to pull riser and BOPs after a successful drilling campaign and the OTC market is generally pleased with the outcome. So why isn't sp not over $2? Because nobody knows for sure yet how good the well is because they, themselves, don't know how good it is yet. I don't care much anyway about ops. I'm more interested in how De Alba et al play this. Hope he holds out for a great farm in or something.
