Also there is a big difference between a rig move and rig skid. Skid, you're still anchored. Say you want to skid 400 feet to port. You pull in anchor chains on port side as you simultaneously let out anchor chain on starboard side. No big deal. Rig moves away from the well head. Drop BOP by accident then no damage to well.
