Discord Sproutly Board, 9 month summary of discussion
I joined the Discord Sproutly board because there seemed to be a few people who actually communicated with Dr. Sen - The Man, so maybe there would be actual FACTS and INFORMATION to be had. Sadly, no. It would always be that some exciting thing is "just over the horizon", usually 3-6 months out, so just "hang on" (the current target is Q1, but hey, now it's pushed to 'six months', for the umpteenth time), and "be patient", for that thunderous drop of an actual product, other than the high priced Caliber weed that represents their only real offering.
People who question the business performance, communications, or plans are told "don't be negative, or just kicked off as a "troll", so Lord Blizzy set up a time out corner thread for people who are "negative nellies"., where they could be targeted as the next to be kicked off by Lord blizzy. If you blow positive smoke, you are welcome to say anything, fact or not. If you are a realist, or considered 'negative', then, since you are spouting opinion, not fact, you are banished by blizzy. Great logic there. Fits right in with the big tech boys.
Since those inner circle folks who had Dr. Sen's ear never provided any real substantive info, they spend most of the rest of their time talking about other topics, making hopeful 'positive' statements, wrapping themselves up in complicated theories about why we are where we are (near bankruptcy), posting stupid graphics, or talking about OTHER Dr. Sen projects that he's working on in the USA that won't provide one dime to Sproutly but somehow, by "validating the technology", will cause good things to happen for this 2 cent Canadian company.
Occasionally one of the faithful will find said product somewhere in Maine or elsewhere, sample the beverage and provide a personal report of their experience, so the board is fine to learn about non Sproutly products if that's your thing. (See 'validating the technology').
Dr. Sen spends most of his time in Florida, not Canada, where he seems to be busy with "the next big thing (in the USA) ', that somehow will cause Sproutly to flourish and we all get our money back. That would be great (see Rainbows/unicorns).
For me, I just want to see a free flow of facts and opinions, not a scrubbed fantasy island lorded over by delusional, controlling behavior. It would be great if some of the people on the Discord board who still want to be adults came back to this board where they are able to say what they think.
