19,958 oz AU in December 2020, 220,194 oz AU for 2020

The 2020 full year production number of 220,194 oz is down from 239,991 in 2019, But the December 2020 production is in line with a production rate of near 240,000 oz.

Presumably the lower 2020 full year production was due to COVID-19 issues?

No surprise here. The good new is the very impressive grade in average  at the cristalles vein. 1300 t at 47 g. huge.  No buy back of course in dec. Nealy 5 mil cad spent for div and repurchases.

They are going to drill the Cristales vien in Feb . Can`t wait to see if they can show depth and continuity to that vein. Bonanza grades there . 23 other vien systems still to explore .    I was told buying back shares has a lot of rules and can be tricky with such a low volume stock. Shares can only be bought on the uptick so it`s hard to maintain the buys . On the other hand if the ...more

Wayne, not sure about that uptick part. Maybe rules are different in Canada, but last I knew in US you could sit on bid as long as you didn't create it. In other words if someone went up you could match. Or you could sit below bid and wait for it to come to you. Preferred way, imo, since it creates a nice line of defense. They also can't buy first half hour or last. And amount is ...more

This is the first time  we have a  report about what are mining the smalls guys. This result is simply astonishing for me.  Hey , we are talking 1300 tons  of ore here . This is note samples . This is full ore treated. The most comical is that prod comes ..before ...drilling. Generaly companies drill and mine after . -) With so heavy  grade , it's  impossible for ...more

I can never understand when people get upset with somebody in management who sells shares or options or warrants . What would be the point of working there ?  What if you worked for a company but could never cash your paycheck .    Yes I too have a problem with insiders who dump shares when companies are doing poorly like rats deserting the ship. Like Sprott does routinely  ...more

Agree. People put too much emphasis on insider selling. People sell for all kinds of reasons. And keep in mind they arent always investor wizzards a la sprott. Some insiders are clueless investors. Unless i see a massive transaction i dont pay any attention to insider selling

By " happy with WA ? "   do you mean Western Atlas ?   The answer is yes , I now own a ton of shares .   When I first pointed it out I said don`t expect anything for quite a while but it is unlikely to get shares again at 5 cents . And Serafino also owns a pile . Good enough for me .
