July 16 2014 was the date the merger between the original capital pool and AcuityAds was announced. Hayek became an insider at that date.
I believe that is common practice to enter the date a person became an insider when creating any new account. Or atleast this is how it is tracked on the particular website this is from. Check other transactions on other companies where someone creates an account it lists the transaction date from when they became an insider not the date an account was created.
