RE:RE:RE:Canada to Announce Update - Prefers F35 Jets - $19 Billion
There is now a sense of urgency for Canada and other NATO countries to build up their defence capabilities to deal with the Ukraine situation and security concerns in Europe.

Canada and Germany have announced that they will be buying the F35.  Once the orders are firm and there are more details about the companies involved, there will be significantly more interest in Avcorp.

Definitely agree with your comments about the potential for mergers and acquisitions because the F35 contracts will be long term over many years (decades) and there will M&A interest for this type of steady reliable revenue.

Fair value for Avcorp is probably in the range of $0.35/share to $0.85/share, and even higher based on the F35 contracts that are coming.

whyiinvested wrote: if you recall the last year when Stephen Harper was the PM, there was a leak that he was going to annouce that Canada was going to buy the F35s and the stock went up to around 21 cents. But because he did not want to deal with the controversies around the F35 during election time, there was no announcement and the stock retreated. But it is nowhere near the 20 cents mark after this annoucement. Any idea why?

Who is selling at .95 cents and small amounts at that? Sometimes it doesn't make sense.
I follow MAL and HRX and their share prices have not moved either.

Canadian aerospace companies stand to gain a lot from this and there is opportunity for mergers and acquiitions. This is said to be once in a generation opportunity but nothing is happenning to the stocks.

Please help me understand. I have waited too long.
Thank you
