When suddenly the BlackBerry and Amazon partnership was announced on December 1st, 2020, most people were shocked (other than those who have been following the story), to learn that BlackBerry “the Phone Company” was still around. Soon they all realized that the phone company from back in the day has now transformed itself into a Software Security Company using AI and Machine Learning. Once a pioneer in smartphone technology, is now pioneering the technology of the future. AI, ML, EV, AV, 5G, WFH, UEM, UES, EPP, MTD, EDR, UEBA, Zero Trust, Zero Touch, Crisis Communications, Cloud etc etc…. After I started writing this article I also wished that it was only a phone company then I would have only had to write about one topic…. It is not the case and let me lay it out.
As you can see from the list above it is not a phone company and it is just not one item that I need to cover. So I will do the best I can, you may search each of these to find out more about them.

Also BlackBerry is talking about AI in Healthcare and AWs was talking about heathcase at its re-invent event just concluded, remember for both autonomous cars and healthcare security and privacy is KEY and only BlackBerry can guarantee that due to its reputation, not Apple , not Google.
Also look at the number of car companies that already work with BlackBerry, they are in 175 Million cars on the road today…..
