All talk,No Action - MaherHi Maher, I wouldn't call it "hatred".  The way I see it, people can be simply mistaken without necessarily being hateful.

They say most of us make decisions based on little more than gut reaction and then employ all of our reasoning abilities to try to support the resulting contentions.

That doesn't say much for human reasoning abilities, but once we accept the idea that we're all emotional creatures it's easier to understand why emotion plays such a big part in shaping our thoughts. In other words a lot of intelligent people are wrong about a lot of things - much of the time.

And it usually isn't worth your time engaging them in discussion because they express themselves well, and can dig up every rationalization conceivable to defend what they say.

Even when proven conclusively wrong about one particular point, skilled debaters will simply move on to another point where they feel they can win.

So, it's important to be continually on your toes when reading info like this online, to look for the point where factual information ends and the not-so-factual opinions start. Skilled speakers will employ rhetorical devices to present their opinions just as emphatically as they do the facts.

Critical readers develop the skills to know the differerence.

This guy presents a lot of opinion that isn't well-grounded in fact. This should put us on guard for the liklihood he has a specific axe to grind.  It seems obviou he has a speific motiation for presenting a negative case against Bombardier, and C Series. And it seems obvious he's being less than forthright about it.

But few people take the time to write extensively about a topic if they're completely without feeling about the topic. Life is too short to spend a lot of time writing about stuff you don't care about. Much more likely he's an investment advisor advocating a competitor to his clients, has personal investments in a competitor, or maybe takes short positions in Bombardier, in the naive notion that what he writes has the power to turn a lot of investors off the stock.

It could be anything. I woudn't take it any more seriously than the many posters to this board and others that I've encountered who severely criticized Bombardier in the past. In the more than 10 years I've been posting on Bombardier I've encountered more than a few.

And where are they now?

My guess is they're off somewhere badmouting another company where they feel they might have a little more success pandering excessive negative criticism.
