Pierre's Experience - Maher

Pierre's Experience - MaherHere's my response to your second point concerning Pierre's experience:

I have to laugh though when I hear people criticize Pierre and question his capabilities as CEO. At one point in a conference call awhile back one of the analysts calling in to ask the question which had just been answered called him by his father's name, and Pierre had to tell the guy that it wasn't Laurent, but rather Pierre who he'd actually been listenting to for the past few minutes.

Pierre knows this company as well as anyone. He managed the recreational unit for many years previous to his appointment to the business jet unit.

People are neither good or bad managers because they are related. Good managers are motivated and capable. They're innovative and competitive. Pierre scores highly on all counts.

Why would anyone want to own a company where they doubted the leadership?

It's a pretty simple thing to sell Bombardier and buy one of its competitors if you don't like Bombardier or its management.
