Thinking of buying a position...

Kherson (452) | June 22, 2022 08:55 am

The cash is in my account but I think I will sit the day out. My thoughts are if WTI drops below $100, CJ share price will have a 6 handle.

yup... possibly, a wise move on your part

WTI massacred overnight. Another one of those historical Wile E. Coyote drops

I was thinking exactly as you stated duk until I just read about the Russian oil refinery being hit by Ukrainian drones. Having spent some time in Odessa a few years back and seeing the hate between the two warring factions, things are gonna get alot worse.
I pulled the trigger and bought a position @ $7.66 a share. That gives me a yield of 7.8% and my line of credit is currently charging me 6.45%. It might get interesting.

I posted this on the 22nd. It has been an interesting week. Glad I held onto my position, but wish I was better at timing the Market!

I posted the above on June 22nd. The only change is that the interest rate on my line of credit has increased to 7.45%. Looks like my capital gain is the definition of free money?

I started buying this thing somewhere between $6 and $7 when they were paying a healthy dividend.  I rode it all the way down and loaded up under $1.  Cost is now under $3 and sitting on a life changing gain and enough monthly cash flow to sit back and watch.  I could sell it all and have enough for life but I am not sure where else I can get close to a 10% yield and fundamentals supporting that should increase.

Short story long WCP closed today around $9.75, i was also in Air Canada at $3 that hit $50+ shoulda, woulda, coulda but i like oil :) 1/2 my life savings in WCP, 1/2 CJ, it is a life changer if ya got balls

My book cost is now down to $7.46 a share as I was able to add more to my position as I had my line of credit increased. Therefore going forward, I am receiving yield of 9.6% and my interest rate is now 8.2%!
