there has always been a large amount of return of capital in the tax statement and i'm sure the figure will be in excess of 44 cents this year so all the hysterics on this board are probably much ado about nothing. the management fees were lowered several years ago and now they are in line with an actively managed etf so it's a good option to etfs.  i've held it so long that  all the return of capital over the years has made my adjusted cost base is very low and that Ahole trudeau would get a good chunk of any proceeds if i sold out the remainder of my shares.
