"to focus on professional and family commitments"

I agree with a few posters here, Mike is a professional, and I suspect, becasue he still has a huge option package that remains in place for the next 90 days, its to his benefit, to "keep it in the vault".   In talking with senior managment, all I can say is they talk very highly of M T!!!!  Fury, is exploration at its best, not just yet @ development, a bit early for an engineer.....

CB, drilling is going amazing, and yes its a long term project, but the reality, is AEM is watching this summers program with HUGE interest!  Cores look V G to date! On hole #3 .....

Homestake Ridge, Ivan, please sell this asset, there are many interested, let it go and put pride on the shelf.....hold a carried interest...let it go.....$50M in the bank plus, makes your team a hero!

The JV in PQ, time to release it to our second largest shareholder, hold a carry.....and put another $20M iin the bank.......

Wait on Eau C results, for a better market.....no one listening now any ways!

Whats left standing then, CB ( a future sale or a spin out ), Eau Clair and perhaps something bigger in PQ,

Tim, has huge depth, on the capital markets side, thats whats needed, to give Ivan some leg room.....hes been carrying us all on three deals now for a long time!

Peters, picked up the pace in Tier One, Sombrero is an Oct project and Shawn has TORQ covered.....and the fact is, we have a great technical team.....

J 103 Best of luck Mike, everyone including your family needs you, first!!  We all forget whats important, dont we.......

Personally, I think Mike has health issues.

J103: a great post as usual. I agree with everything you say except the following: keep and drill homestake ridge! It's absolutely worth it. Personally I like the silver content there. We will have time to sell it down the road, but after some drilling.  @Sombrero: what's your take on the Takana  district optioned today? Personally I can't believe what for a phenomal ...more

Nice spin, but there was internal fighting for the past year between Vancouver and Toronto. The spend is insane for a company of this size. MT althoguh an extremely comteptent enginerr and manager, was spending like he was at Agnico Eagle. Latest financial statements show the company to be broke so guess what - another very dilutive financing has to be in the works. This is an exploration comapny ...more

This is my thoughts too. The only holes they were digging is the SP price. I thought raising money at $1.44 would be a rotten deal, but now it seems like a good price. Lol. At this point Fury is doa. Eastmain is a stranded asset that will never have a buyer, HR is also dead and CB is a pipe dream. I can't see anything positive that will benifit share holders or the SP.

if you want a positive look no further than a massive strike at committee bay. That's big gold there somewhere

Enough with CB! Even if you strike 10 million ounces your 15 to 20 years always from F.S., permits & obtaining the CAPEX needed to build out a mine in that location!  Eau Claire is the Cash Mine and they should have been concentrating all efforts on Eau Claire & Homestake (saleable asset).   Management has issues! & they are not going away even with M.T. Resigning!   ...more

The last 3 guys in charge with this company have been let go. Pitiful.  MT tried to run this thing like a major and it is not.  Now we have a bean counter in charge and that aint good. The last bean counter in charge gave  ER away for nothing and shareholders got screwed.  Where do we go from here. Little money is left in the kitty so it is off to the market again with our hat ...more
