I think it is absolutely proven beyond any doubt that Novo are not good at exploration. In the last five years all they have been able to find is a few rock chip piles discarded a century ago by grizzled prospectors looking for something of interest.
Novo buys into low grade deposits selected by the Muddle Headed Wombat (also known as the mad uncle) ..... they are all Captains Picks.....
Everyone with land holdings in the Pilbara containing uneconomic low grade deposits are hoping for his return.....they will be lined up if he appears.." pick me!" hoping for a quick $10m or so.
