Alternative uses for NG that require less exposure to AECO and TC egress should be investigated.

You only have to look as far a IPL's Heartland Polypropylene plant to find  good examples.

Kawaski has also built a fertizizer plant that uses NG as its feedstock and is highly valued now.

These kind of value added industries provide great local jobs as well as highly sought after products while providing egress in more cost competative forms.
