Jean-Francois Tardif, founder and portfolio manager at Timelo Investment Management, joins BNN Bloomberg to discuss his investment strategy amid U.S. bank earnings season as well as mining mergers. He says he is investing in the energy sector because of the large amounts of free cash flows it generates. When it comes to banks, he sees an investment opportunity in TD and BMO as they are currently trading at a discount compared to RBC.
