RE:RE:RE:Trudeau wants to shut down the oil fields in albertaAntonyius:

But the problem is that the so-called progressives don't really think out their plans in practical terms!

Example:
  • Biden cancels KXL pipeline within 24 hours of assuming presidency - in order to appease the radical enviro progressives within the Democratic Party
  • Fast forward to late 2021, and the oil price surge is resulting in high gasoline pump prices in the US of A - and the consumers are getting p'd off at Biden for the increased cost
  • Biden appeals to OPEC+ (the same Middle East countries plus Russia that you refer to) to open the taps on their less (socially and environmentally) responsible oil in order to quench the thirst of the US driving public
  • At the same time, Biden is still allowing the game against Enbridge Line 5 to continue to play out slowly - instead of telling the Michigan Governor to F off and not rock the boat while oil prices are sky high
So you get the point - lot's of hot air from the progressives - even a willingness to shoot themselves in the foot time after time after time. They cannot learn a lesson cuz their newfound "religion" is dogmatic - there is only black or white in their world view.

Also, if you think that the Turdo Regime is any better than the Biden Regime - well then I am sure there are some other posters on this bulletin board that have some "valuable real estate" in the Artic Circle they would be happy to sell you!

The only bright spot in the enviro nutter world is that in New England the public voted not to accept the Hydro Quebec power lines that would cross the border to deliver Quebec electricity to the US NorthEast. The Quebecers blustered "how dare you" shut down our line after all the relevant approvals were granted. Really, really rich after all that Quebec has down to conspire against and shut down pipelines in Canada. Karma is a beetch - as they say! But hey, no probs - the Turdo Regime will just increase the Equalization payments to Queebek by a billion or two - so stop crying!

Cheers!
