SIR Royalty Income Fund (the Fund) holds investment in SIR Corp (SIR). The Funds' investment, SIR is engaged in the business of owning and operating full-service restaurants in Canada. SIR has concept restaurant brands, including Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill, Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar, and Canyon Creek Chop House, signature restaurant brands, such as Reds Wine Tavern, Reds Midtown Tavern, Reds Square One, and The Loose Moose, which are used by SIR under a license agreement with SIR Royalty Limited Partnership (the Partnership. The Fund receives distribution income from its investment in the Partnership and interest income from the SIR Loan. The Fund indirectly participates in the revenues generated under the License and Royalty Agreement through its Investment in the Partnership.

Respectfully , I do my own work and listen to my own counsel.  If somebody puts in some work, I welcome it.  


I find it interesting that folks spend time on boards of companies that they don’t own just to belittle others.  It diminishes your own returns when you waste time on companies you aren’t interested in.  There is no borrow on SIR.  I assume most of you like me are retirees.  Some of you clearly have more free time than others.  If you have time to belittle others, develop a hobby outside of investing or spend more time on companies that you view as a reasonable risk /return.  Better for your health and mental well being.  And your portfolio returns.  I used to see this behaviour in fellow professionals over the years.  It was inevitably the poorest performers that were both bullies and braggarts.  

 

Be respectful to others . It illustrates insecurity in one’s own ability and lack of focus when one wastes time like this.
