RE:Thank goodness I sold half yesterday

Yes hindsight is 20/20 but the move would have been to sell them all on the open market and if you really wanted to buy back in the next day once it predictably dropped.  I'm amazed so many ...more

Share Offer

The takers only amount to a little over 8 M shares .. or about 27.4% of the 30 Million offer. Not surprising. Amounts to about a 13% reduction to the current share count. It will be interesting to ...more

Any point in holding this POS?

Seems it is never going beyond $35. The  3.5% div yield is easily beaten elsewhere. What to do and why?.

Half the shares = double the divs?

Why not? It's the same amount going out. At present price that would be a 7% yield!

RE:SIB $18 taxable dividend???

A lot of people hold this  in tax-exempt accounts like RRSP, RRIF TFS, so not a worry for them.

SIB $18 taxable dividend???

Am I reading that right??? If so I'm amazed this moved up at all based on that. Anyone without a very low cost base would be out of their mind to tender. $35 isn't the floor if someone who ...more
