you a fellow investor. Investors tend to be long term
believers in a corporation's fundamentals, whereas traders start out long or
short close out their position and sniff out which way the winds blowing
take a position then quickly crystallize that trade and repeat.
Then if your long you say nice things and if your short you try to talk it down.
There is nothing wrong with being short where you have borrowed the
stock and are paying a rental fee, but shorting with out borrowing
has always seemed like forgery to me.
but then I am a bagholder.
