iShares S&P/TSX Global Base Metals Index ETF T.XBM

The investment objective of the Fund is to provide long term capital growth by replicating, to the extent possible, the performance of the S&P/TSX Global Base Metals Index the Index, net of expenses. To achieve its investment objective the Fund uses an indexing strategy. Under this strategy, the Fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Index, net of expenses, by employing, directly or indirectly, through investment in one or more iShares ETFs and/or through the use of derivatives, a replicating strategy or sampling strategy. A replicating strategy is an investment strategy intended to replicate the performance of the Index by investing, directly or indirectly, primarily in a portfolio of index securities in substantially the same proportions as they are represented in the Index.

RE:Staying the course...

RE:Staying the course...Notwithstanding the scarcity of minerals going forward and the incessant demand for all things EV. Commodities are likely the place to be for the next few years. All these proponents of EV adoption reject having any new mines built. Somebody needs to educate them that you "can't have it both ways". Biden is perhaps one of the more ignorant in this regard - most gov'ts I would suggest. They want to get rid of combustible engines but to do so offshore the mines/pollution to another country. Frigg'n hypocrites!
