I'm listening to the live webinar right now, and aparently to the east of the fault on Mpama north they have intercepted the BEST visual minerization to date!!

It's no wonder then that one of the directors of Alphamin said Bisie has one of if not the most valuable metallic reserves of any mine in the world right now (esp given the price of tin right now and going forward)

The deposit is valuable, but are the common shares? There's an overhang for anyone buying in today: the common shares are diluted. Looking at Q3 results, I don't see common share ROI (R=net-income, I=investor buyin) exceeding 6% without either grade or tin price going up. Increasing LOM alone won't do it, unless AFM goes immediately on a sustained buyback spree. Cutting share count in ...more

A reverse 3 for 1 split and a dividend would do wonders for trading activity and value Way to much float right now

Irrational conclusion. The resource tonnage continues to escalate on drilling on both Mpama North & South. If you are reading from an resource estimate when the construction started on the mine, Mpama North resource alone has dramatically increased since then and Mpama South a wild guess. LOM (life of mine) will be decades depending how fast they expand production. There appears to be (many? ...more

All else remaining the same, increasing LOM does not affect annual ROI; it only affects cumulative ROI, which is not normally of interest to small investors like us. Something else must improve, such as external costs, grade, tonnage, or metal price. And if ROI begins low (as is the case here), the improvements must be substantive.
