Ksi Lisims Pearce Island LNG project (12 mill tons)Will need Green Hydro power to compress NG to LNG. KSI LISIMS | Home (ksilisimslng.com) Kitimat LNG (10 mill tons), now more than 50% complete is required to use 20% BC Hydro power, the remainder is gas turbine generated.
Unless BC changes the 100% green requirement for new LNG facilities, BC Hydro does not have the power capability to supply Ksi Lisims LNG.
Ksi Lisims started the EAO process last July, two NG pipeline approvals were granted years ago to deliver NG and construction must start on either of the pipelines before 2026.
Russian sanctions have removed 30 mill tons of LNG from world supply.
More Creek Hydro can supply some of the MW's required for Ksi Lisims and/or any of the new BC mines (Seabridge and Skeena) about to start construction.
