$DMR.v CEO Larry Nagy has an insane track record. Damara Gold (TSXV: DMR) CEO Larry Nagy is no newcomer to the gold mining world. With over 35 years of experience in the mineral resource industry, he has managed exploration programs in North and South America, Australia, Mongolia, and Africa.
In his role as director at Calpin Resources, Larry optioned the Eskay Creek Property and subsequently discovered one of the largest and richest gold-silver deposits in North America. While serving as President and CEO of Oliver Gold Corp, he led Oliver in the discovery of the Segala gold deposit in Mali, West Africa, and the Ipanema Gold deposit in Zimbabwe.
Now Larry leads Damara Gold, currently exploring the Placer Mountain Project in Southern BC. Recent drilling at Placer delivered multiple high-grade gold intercepts well over 30 g/t Au, and 40 g/t Ag. Subsequently, Damara doubled its land holdings, bringing the placer project area to over 17,000 acres.
We haven’t heard much from Damara since it announced drill results in April, so I expect to hear updates on the company’s future plans for the project soon.
$DMR.v is currently valued at only $2.43 million, making it a very high potential play right now. The company is trading for pennies at the moment at $.035.
