this is good news lol not like being there did any good for any company.

Just rebalancing for year end, nothing more than that.....I'm sure that ETF had a record year (Not) better to be as far away as possible from those HMMJ while just holding individual companies.

it helps all when times are good and causes more harm when times are not.  With the exodus of cash from the industry, Eve shares would have required to be sold as monies left HMMJ, in addition to regular selling pressure.

Big deal, the HMMJ is garbage. Theres plenty other pigs on that list they decided to keep. Btw, if you read it says they tend not to invest in companies with market caps under $75M thus could be a reason for them dropping Eve.

cannv..........your garbage comment is somewhat refreshing but confusing.  Do you remember the blatant hyping that went on when it was announced that Eve was being included in the index.? Lol, index good, index bad. Lol

Must have missed that, I for one could care less about being part of the fund. The fund has to perform, thats how they make their money. I dont see Eves stock doing much for that fund in the near tearm anyway.

cannv.......works the same with research firms that put out glowing reports knowing they will be well paid by the companies requesting the report. Many newbies don't have the smarts to read declarations and disclaimers.

Canntrust is a bad example to use as a comparison for any thing now.  It looks like HC wants them to "pay the price" and they will.   The HMMJ isn't doing that well either.  Hold something all the way down then dump it when things are lining up.  Hmmm. If I was a betting person ...

I agree, and they put money on shares at 50cents and 60 cent warrants.  HMMJ are not the big boys, they are machines that invest on parameters.  Its an ETF so they set rules and follow. The 10 million raised however was institutional - big boys, nice try. they must have sold a few shares in the process thus perhaps are partly responsible for where we are, not where we are going. First of all, “Securities within HMMJ's index generally have a market capitalization of greater than CAD $75 million.” We’ve been below that for a while now. Secondly, we held a .03 percentage in their portfolio, so it’s not as if they were holding much to begin with. IMO we shouldn’t have been there to begin with. As for the HMJR deletion, “HMJR invests in companies with market ...more
