UBC Progress BVLOS; $750k grant; Need for Condor

UBC Progress BVLOS; $750k grant; Need for CondorThe UBC project is active with over 500 flights flown thus far. These are around 5k in range with Sparrow but there is a limited need to get to full range of 200k, thus the need for Condor. During this testing phase, they post observers every 2k. This looks good for Transport Canada watching to see the success of BVLOS flights with drones, for which DDC is paving the way in a very responsible way. There is a pharmacy project funded by a $750,000 private grant, but only for a year. Condor will fit in nicely to existing projects.
