This science youtube channel has almost 1.4 million subscribers, Joe Scott recently talked about Graphene Manufacturing Group Ltd ($GMG.v) in a recent video on how battery technology can be improved.
Some things Scott highlighted about $GMG were:
- Their prototype battery can charge 60x faster than a lithium-ion battery (would make charging an EV more like filling up at the pump)
- The $GMG Battery will have a theoretical upper limit of 1050 Wh/kg
- The team is currently testing 300,000 variations on the battery's design in pursuit of better performance
- How $GMG is already producing batteries (currently producing coin batteries, looking to produce pouch bag batteries)
- Batteries are recyclable
The video also doesn't seem to be sponsored by $GMG in any way which is a plus.
