RE:RE:RE:Basically
Whether it is a vein structure they are following or high grade, both are at times, hit and miss. Vein structures are locations where fractured rock is infilled with volcanogenic or plutonic fluids carrying gold and silver ++ and much like a broken window, the exact location of those fratures can be difficult to pin down especially when working with different rock lithologies, some of which behaves in a brittle manner to stress or shear and other rock types behave in a more plastic response.
A few holes does not make or break an exploration program rather it simply provide details about where to drill and also very importantly, where not to drill. The absense of veins with gold helps reduce wasted drill money so learning this early is of importance. It also provides a view of the areas of maximum stress/strain as well areas where extension is occuring, an area where reduced pressure and voids will permit fluids to infill.
High gold grades can also be misleading. One hole can have exceptional results and yet a hole drilled literally meters away could miss any high grade mineralization. The issue of visible gold and silver means you see it is some places and not right beside. Depending on where the drill hole goes, results could be huge or low. That is why MANY holes provide an general sense over a large areas and the law of averages steps in with how they define their resource block model to come up with an accurate picture.
If you liked this stock last week, nothing much has changed unless you exect to see high grades in every hole. That ain't going to happen. These early results will simple help the exploration team to refine thier impression of what is happening where and they will try again, and refine again.
