There was a change in geologists (project leaders) that was not disclosed to MMA for many months. The orginal RIO gelologist was very knowledgeable about the Africian style deposits. Unlike RIO, MMA plans to drill the bordering structure. Anyways, I for one am happy to see RIO out of the picture.
MMA CEO has rappoprt with major base metals miners Ivanhoe Mines, FQM and Barrick. They have been supportive in the past. AND, FQM wants to spend a YUGE, I mean YUGE, amount of money in Zambia.
To close, not the first time a large company has screwed up. GM was to big to fail and got bailed out in 20082009.
