RE: The Ecuador Mining SituationIf the tax regime makes it impossible to develop new mines, then the law will be changed, imo. We don't have all of the information yet and the indications are that smaller miners will get a less onerous deal. The game has changed and countries that host natural resources are going to be seeking greater participation. The windfall profits mining tax in Peru and the currency controls recently instituted in Argentina being two examples. This is not a widows and orphans stock, imo. The updated resource estimate is likely to greatly increase the number of ounces, don't you agree? The question is whether the market will assign any value to them due to their geographical coordinates.
