Trading at a discount to NAV, yield over 10%
Latest stated NAV on the website is 7.36 , up .14 from the end of October. This one of the safer funds from Quadravest but unfortunately gets little respect. Seems divvy pigs are more willing to prop

Perhaps the reason for the shortselling on some of these split funds is Muddy Waters short and distort attack on MFC. Perhaps those split funds with a large holding in MFC are also a

DS holding up better than most of Quadravest funds
Seems there has been a bit of an attack on some of the split funds, both Quadravest and Brompton for some reason. PIC.a , a Strathbridge split fund holding the six big canadian banks

I am new to DS and I am wondering if any of the past monthly distributions have consisted of a return of capital? I looked at 2017 and noticed that there were no such returns in that year? Anyone know

Yes steady income of around 10% and not a spit fund, so no threshhold where you dont receive a distribution , which is what is happening to DF, from Quadravest. Holders of regular DF shares wont

That would translate to an annualized dividend slighly higher than 10% based on current price. Not bad in todays turmoil market.

Actually , the distibution is based on te volume -weighted average price of the last 3 trading days of JULY,, and that comes out to about 8.12 or so. If you divide .812 ( 10%) by 12 months you get

Time to reload. Sellers are nuts selling under $8.00. August dividend should be higher than July's based on trading at the end of July of the holdings. I was buying today. GLTU
