The shares are halted. How could the market be yawning or the SP be over $1.20? Bid/ask in a halted stock with no resumption timing is hardly indicative.

Announcement should be prior to HK exchange opening at 7:30 Calgary time. The news will be let out on the side of the acquirer first.
