To meet demand, otherwise a competitor will meet it. Also, they keep a tiny portion of the money under management. So they earn more.

Sudden sell off to $11.68. My bids got filled from $11.90 down. Crazy volatile today. Take it as a gift I hope? Yield now just above 10%.

trying to find some solid split funds, this one seems pretty good chart wise also SBC seems solid too, 5 year chart is nice and divvys too... any other recommendations ?

This is the best Split fund.
Unit Nav = $22.40. Nav = $12.34. Price now = $12.66. Premium to Nav = $0.32 (2.5%) Very well diversified globally and in many sectors. Much safety here. GLTL.

Last day to buy for this months distributions is Oct 27.
Ex-div date is October 28, 2021, so if you want in, get it by October 27, 2021. Nav is $12.20 (October 25), $0.10 per month (9.84%). Unit Nav is $22.23 (October 25, 2021) = very safe for some time
