Gives you an idea where short term rates are heading.    Banks aren't going to lock in 5 year rates on mortages at 4.5% while paying GICs 5%.

Current Yields range from 8.57% on the A's to 11.35% on the

T's.      Reset Yields base on current 5 yr rate of 3.81%   range from 11.66% on the T's to 14.98% on the R's.    IMHO, there's still plenty upside ...more

My Primary Objective is to grow my TFSA/RRSP accounts

as fast as possible.   Tax efficiency is low priority.   That will come automatically as my TFSA/RRSP grows exponentially.   It's all about Capital Gains on share ...more
