XDividend date is today July 31 so If you owned it at the close yesterday you get the dividend payable on Aug 8 if you bought it today you don't get the dividend As we all have ...more

The reality is that inflation was persistently too low before the pandemic, and it's dropping so fast now that it may go far below 2%. Boc needs to drop the rate at every meeting and maybe by more ...more

It seems the BoC is being politicised now. There is no way they should be dropping rates at all when official inflation is still 40% above 2% target rate, and should see at least 3-4 QTR stable ...more
