My spreadsheet showing a gain of about 53 cents despite most of the US holdings in red , and the USD down vs CAD nearly .85% CAD stocks were about flat with about half the holdings up. Overall

FFN has higher leverage than FTN, so its NAV rises faster when the markets move higher, but also drops faster when the markets move lower. The NAV of FTN is higher, so it's dividend is more

Spreadsheet showing a gain of 58 cents despite the USD pulling back vs CAD. Last trade @ $5.78 leaves the common shares discount by 30 cents or about 5%. FFN would have the highest distribution rate

FFN would up if not for SLF selling off 5% , and it is the 2nd biggest CAD hold in FFN at last report. FFN does have a much lower % in CAD holdings than FTN , so the loss was NOT as big as with

Good job , i have it one penny lower. But a few different wieghtings can do that. Depends how high % of the NAV we have for MFC and SLF for instance. Big move by MFC today.
