RE: Another reference Icewolf

RE: Another reference Icewolfyou asked: what is your estimate of the first year decline rate, expected for Brenda? Is this the reason for injecting gas? What do you estimate the percent of each fluid in the mix, oil, water and gas? My understanding so far about Brenda/Nicol: - Art Millholland did confirm on RobTV, a few weeks ago, that the maximum production rate would be 35k bbl/d. This has to be after the first year. SO, starting at about 25k bbl/d would be my guess. - The declining rate will be known over time and will depend on the real size of the reservoir, so far estimated at 31MM barrels. - Art did confirme the use of artificial lift that will increase the reservoir potential to be extracted. The use of that method increases over time as the reserves decrease. SO, the oil/water/gas mix vary over time. Some people around here are much more qualified to answer and I'd like to see them jump in.
