Yes I am having some trouble sleeping tonight with thoughts of the meeting tommorrow filling my head. I have a sense that HLD is at a crossroads and could fall either way. After all this time one outcome could be very good for me and the other very bad (but good for the insiders who I always hoped were protecting my interests!). My Financial Planner knows what I think and he he is leaning towards recommending a NO Vote but waiting until after the information meeting tommorrow before making a final decision. He says that most of his other HLD clients indicate they do not favour the offer. I guess it is pretty plain where I stand but I live with a decision made by a majority of other HLD Unitholders. If it smells rotten chances are it is bad. Agree that informed unitholders are in the best position to judge the merit (or lack thereof) of this take over bid.
