Company News Alert Aranka Gold Inc. Commences Airborne Geophysical Survey (ccnm) TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - April 11, 2006) - Guyana Goldfields Inc. (TSX:GUY) and Aranka Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ARK) - Aranka Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE:ARK) is pleased to announce the commencement of an airborne geophysical survey over it's previously announced 100,414 acre reconnaissance permit in the Cuyuni River area, Guyana. The survey will consist of high resolution magnetic, radiometric and VLF/EM surveys. Approximately 11,405 line kilometers of data will be collected over areas considered to be highly prospective due to favourable geology as well as a long and significant history of gold production by local miners. As previously announced, the Company has granted Guyana Goldfields Inc. a back in right, for a period of three years, to acquire a 50% interest in any properties in this region by reimbursing Aranka Gold 125% of its total expenditures on the properties.
