RE: Great Presentation And Slides $$$$$$$
RE: Great Presentation And Slides $$$$$$$I listened to a few of the presentations, namely Encana and UTS, and I not to be bias because I own CLL but in term of presentations Connachers was by far the more precise and professional. Encana really surprised me with breaks in speach and fumbling. They seemed a little lost for words towards the end saying things like "it's been really fun for us". UTS's presentation was very confusing to me. They spued off number after number and nothing in present time. How can they possibly know what will happen in 2011 to 2015. They talked aboult an upgrader that won't be online till 2015. That's 9 years from now. There earliest "scheduled" prodution date is 2011, that's 5 years from now. The numbers they used to put this project into production are mind boggling. Billions with a "B". Granted this is a big project but who know what the market will be like in 5 - 10 years from know. UTS is not producing anything right now so where are they getting there operating costs from to sustain them for 5 years. They already have approx 500,000,000 shares outstanding so can they really afford further dilution. What about EUB approvals for a project of that size. What about the people that will oppose this project dew to the preservation of lands and nature. What will it take to make them happy. What about the idea of having management from three big corporations trying to work together to make this project work. Does the term "too many chiefs and not enough indians" come to mind.
Anyway I can go on but the bottom line is risk, I see a much more manageable project in the great divide with just one great management team to bring it onstream.
Very impressed with Connacher and our future...
