RE: CDMA and W-ODFM

RE: CDMA and W-ODFM On the contrary... Wi-lan's name may indicate (LAN = Local Access Network) that it is suited as a LAN... in reality, if you read Hatim's posts, it should have been called Wi-WAN to more acurately depict Wi-lan's specialty -- which is that of a high speed Wide Area Network. Thus their persuit of the IEEE 802.11A standard... Remember what Hatim said re 802.11B: That although LAN business does apply to what WIN does, there's just too much low margin competition in that area. P.S. I've been amused with all the latest posts here and at SI... Keep up your faith in Wi-Lan... the game is just starting. My feeling is Wi-Lan WILL PREVAIL AT THE END... GO HATIM GO... YA RAGEL YA GADAA!
