RE: Why no options yet?The one (and only?) thing that will depress the stock price is any further dilution. The company is growing great so I'm not worried from that standpoint, but if any dilution offsets this, then the stock goes nowhere.
What does your research show the potential dilution hanging out there right now is?
Another aspect to this is that I think the company has a great business model, so it's not as if we need a bunch of brilliant employees to invent a new business, or turn around the business. Moreover, if the main players are people who who hold a bunch of shares already, their main goal is to sell out the entire company at some point in the future, so that should be enough incentive in itself.
I'm willing to have one sideways year now and again, but if AF is not a $10 stock within 5 years, then I will start yelling and screaming at the Annual Meeting. So far, 2005 doesn't bother me, and the stock is moving up slowly recently. But the one thing I do agree with you is that after our sideways year, I am watching management more closely now.
