iShares High Quality Canadian Bond Index ETF T.XQB

Alternate Symbol(s):  ISHQF

The investment objective of the Fund is to replicate, to the extent possible, the performance of the FTSE Canada Liquid Universe Capped Bond Index, net of expenses. Under normal market conditions, the Fund will primarily invest in securities of one or more exchange-traded funds managed by BlackRock Canada or an affiliate and/or Canadian fixed income securities. The Index consists of a well-diversified selection of investment-grade as determined by the index provider, liquid bonds issued domestically in Canada and denominated in Canadian dollars and is comprised of approximately 60% government bonds and 40% corporate bonds including certain qualifying asset-backed securities. To achieve its investment objective the Fund uses an indexing strategy.

RE: Share Dilution Scenario Will not Happen

RE: Share Dilution Scenario Will not HappenAbout the only thing I have read here that is dumber than this post is the absurdity of thinking this is going on the bog board of the TSX. You are definitely correct that this will never get past the regulators even if it gets shareholder approval because too many of the exchange's policies and limits here are being grossly offended. However, the result of that will be the death of this company because they will not get the loan, the debentures will not be paid off, the lawsuit will not settle and, true to form on these things, this lender will buy the current debenture and privatize this thereby saving tons of dough and avoiding all the public crapola with the exchange and shareholder approval. Like Matt Damon said in that math film of his, "how do you like them apples?"
