RE: att rickeyclean/ Herb First of all Rick, my sincere apologies for using riskyclean instead of rickyclean, to be honest I'd looked at the name very quickly.....did appreciate your sense of humour in your response to this.
Have to be totally honest in that what I have learnt from my past mistakes has taught me how to play the penny stocks and how to profit from them. Yes, I like many got taken in by the pump and dumps and I've learnt to distinguish the Companies that have substance from those that come across as PROMOTIONS(Pump and Dumps).
I'm fortunate in that I know people who are able to give me excellent advice on certain situations and yes I do my own in depth DD . In addition I follow Herb and a few posters who are knowledgeable on the boards I follow.
Herb and his Group provide Companies that I check out..... not all of them I agree on. But Herb and his group have a much better batting average than most and they have had some very big recent successes including SKE, PLE, EFR & URA .
But like anything else once you have an excellent reputation and the market turns sour, people will turn on you and often need to blame someone for their own mistakes, rather than placing the responsibility where it belongs.... we all take our own risks and we have to be responsible for them.
I personally agree that IIE pricewise is a good speculation, nothing more ,nothing less, with (because of the price) an excellent risk/reward factor. I suspect the insiders know more than the rest of us and Herb COULD be right on this one but likewise he COULD be wrong and he himself is not guaranteeing anything.
I personally have a relatively small position which I plan on adding to if the News continues to be encouraging.
As far as Herb is concerned, most of the Companies (but not all IMHO) are well worth looking at particularly the lower priced ones that have yet to make the gains the EFR's PLE's SKE and AFX"s have made. These are the ones where the biggest gains can be made, the as yet undiscovered Companies and IIE COULD be one of them ,only time will tell.
My advice to others is to always and I mean always take something off the top as it makes a lot of sense to sell half of your position , once its doubled and don't get greedy as 90 % of the stocks on the Venture exchange that go up usually come back to their starting point( P& D).
My favourite stocks are URA and MXM and I think Herb's choices of IIE and AFA have excellent potential and will both run up on speculation. But I do suggest the readers of this post check out MAXIM (MXM) as they COULD do really well if the flow tests for Oil in Trinidad meet the rumoured expectations.
