RE: WI-LAN RETARDSYou really don't have a clue about what you're saying... do you?
1)Wi-lan has gone up about 3,400% this year from a low of $1.40 to a high of $49.00. How can you say UBS is bigger when their valuation is at a fraction of WIN's... maybe they wish they were bigger... but right now they're NOT (and in my opinion they WILL NEVER BE.)
2) Wi-lan is not a single product company as you claim... but even if you want to call it that, I believe you are missing the point by neglecing to realize the value of its patents which even in the word of the Mickey Mouse UBS's CFO Stephen Rosen's statement he acknowledged that it is a "... a very strong patent."
3) That patent, along with a few others, will form the basis of thousands of products that not only Wi-lan will be able to develop, if it wishes, but also many other companies, for which they will pay sweet royaly fees to Wi-lan... I don't have to name some of these companies...and yes, maybe even UBS!
4) Today's valuations are really not that crucial based on today's cash flow (look at Yahoo, AOL, or Amazon... do they have enough cash flow today to justify their share price?) What you've got to look at is the potential of what Wi-lan would generate in the future.
5) The word on the street is that the CEO and CFO of UBS are not to be trusted, they are hypsters, and their company will be the next bre-X of the tech world... Have you ever heard the word Kleftis? It's greek for Thief. That's what they're calling the CEO on the street... A KLEFTY!!!
Good luck.
