QuestionDoes anybody know if the 825 ounces was the total from the 18000 tonnes or was the 825 ounces of gold Aurogin's 50% share?
If it was the total that would indicate lower than anticipated grades. Based on the goal of 300,000 tonnes they would only end up with 13,750 ounces of gold per year. That is also dependent on them hitting the 300,000 target. The first pour took just over 6 weeks (loaded the pads October 17) and poured earlier this week. At that rate they would end up with just under 9 pours a year. Multiply that by 825 and you are looking at 7425 ounces per year.
Of course if the 825 ouces were all AUQ's then they are on target other than having to speed up the turnaround time of each pour. It was also the first pour so you would expect things to run smoother down the line.
Could be a reason for the pull back after the news. Just a thought and wondering if anybody knew more about this.
Thanks
